June 19th 2008: In a sensational 10-round ESPN2 Wednesday night fights main event, Top-20 130 Lb. contender Cornelius Lock scored a dramatic 10th round KO win as a +115 dog over Speedy Gonzales, 27-2, 18 KO’s. The Don Chargin promoted show produced a great turnout as the well-matched Jr. Lightweights traded bombs in bloody battle in Sacramento, CA.

Cornelius Lock,18-3-1,11 KO’s, looked to be the stronger man from the start as he probed the shorter Gonzales from the outside with blitzing combinations. With less than :30 seconds left in the opening round a quick straight right to the chin from Speedy buckled Lock’s knees.
