Buffalo Bills 2012 Superbowl Odds: Buffalo is tired of watching the playoffs from their TV sets so the front office has decided to go all in. The Bills made waves in the off-season to beef up their 26th ranked defense with the addition of QB killing defensive ends Mario Williams and mark Anderson to help a talented offense with a brainy signal-caller in Ryan Fitzpatrick. The natives are restless in Buffalo and 3rd year sideline boss Chan Gailey is in a make or break season with the Bills dipping into the piggy bank. 2012 NFL Picks Analysis: The Bills were hit hard by injuries last season but when they were healthy early in the season they jumped out to a 5-2 start. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was affected noticeably by a rib injury and the loss of starting RB Fred Jackson stalled the offense. Big-play WR Steve Johnson was resigned to a 5-year deal and with Fitzpatrick 100% they should once again slash up defenses.

Havoc wrecking pass-rusher Mario Williams and physical 1st round corner Stephon Gilmore will try to shore up the Bills flaws against the pass. Buffalo will have to adjust to new coordinator Dave Wannstedt’s 4-3 scheme but the personnel is in place for him to be aggressive. The LB corps has some thumpers against the run with Nick Barnett and Kirk Morrison and special teams are also a team strength. While dramatic improvement is a stretch a .500 season is the most likely scenario.
